Squeezebox

With Squeezebox enabled, Verox appears as a player that can be controlled from any Squeezebox-compatible app.

Configuration

• Service Name — the name used to identify the player in Lyrion. Defaults to the device name.
• Audio Output — select the audio output to use.
• Max Sample Rate — cap the sample rate Squeezelite will play at. Select None for no limit.
• Volume Control — None, Software, or Hardware (if the selected output supports a hardware mixer).
• DSD Output Mode — Off, DoP, or Native DSD for DACs that support it directly. If unsure, use DoP.
• Big Buffers — use larger playback buffers. Sized automatically based on available memory.
• Use fixed IP address — force a specific Lyrion Music Server address instead of discovering it automatically. Enable this and enter the IP Address LMS Server if automatic discovery doesn’t find your server.

Controlled by Roon

Roon supports the Squeezebox protocol natively, so a Roon zone can be routed directly to this player. If you do that, enable Controlled by Roon on this page so Convenience Switching treats Roon as owning the audio output instead of displacing it.
