Spotify Connect

With Spotify Connect enabled, Verox appears as a Spotify Connect device. You can select it as a playback target from any Spotify app on your phone, tablet, or desktop.

Configuration

• Service Name — the name Verox advertises as a Spotify Connect device. Defaults to the device name.
• Audio Output — select the audio output to use.
• Volume Control — None, Software, or Hardware (if the selected output supports a hardware mixer).
• Initial Volume — the volume level (%) to start at.
• Volume Normalisation — Off, Album, or Track. Evens out loudness differences between tracks or albums.
• Normalisation Pregain — Normal, Loud, or Quiet. Only applies when Volume Normalisation is enabled.
• Autoplay — let Spotify keep playing similar music once your queue ends.

Spotify Connect participates in Convenience Switching: starting playback here automatically pauses whichever other service is currently active.
