HQPlayer NAA
HQPlayer NAA (Network Audio Adapter) turns your Verox unit into an HQPlayer endpoint. HQPlayer’s advanced protocol allows all processing and configuration to be handled server-side in the HQPlayer application — Verox simply acts as the output device.
Configuration
- Service Name — the name Verox advertises as an NAA endpoint. Leave blank to use NAA’s own default.
Configure the output device itself in HQPlayer on your server — audio routing is handled entirely server-side.
Convenience Switching setup
To let Convenience Switching pause and resume HQPlayer automatically, enable remote access in HQPlayer.
If a Roon zone on this device is routed through HQPlayer (Roon controlling HQPlayer directly, rather than native RAAT), enable Controlled by Roon on this page so Convenience Switching treats Roon as owning the audio output instead of displacing it.
