AirPlay

With AirPlay enabled, Verox appears as an AirPlay receiver. You can stream music from any Apple device — iPhone, iPad, or Mac — directly to your Verox unit.

Configuration

• Service Name — the name Verox advertises as an AirPlay receiver. Defaults to the device name.
• Audio Output — select the audio output to use. This is the only required setting.
• Volume Control — None, Software, or Hardware (if the selected output supports a hardware mixer).
• Force AirPlay 1 — restrict to the legacy AirPlay 1 protocol. Only needed for older Apple devices that don’t support AirPlay 2.

Controlled by Roon

You can route a Roon zone over AirPlay to this device. If you do that, enable Controlled by Roon on this page so Convenience Switching treats Roon as owning the audio output instead of displacing it.
