UPnP/DLNA

With UPnP/DLNA enabled, Verox appears as a UPnP/DLNA renderer on your network. Any UPnP/DLNA controller — such as Bubble UPnP, mConnect, or Kazoo — can stream to it.

Configuration

  • Service Name — the name Verox uses when advertising itself as a UPnP/DLNA renderer on the network. Defaults to the device name.
  • Audio Output — select the audio output to use. This is the only required setting.
  • Volume ControlNone, Software, or Hardware (if the selected output supports a hardware mixer).
  • DoP (DSD over PCM) — enable for DSD playback over a DoP-capable DAC. Disabled automatically when Software volume control is in use.
  • OpenHome support — enabled by default. Some UPnP/DLNA controllers are more compatible with it disabled.
